The Foundation module is an integral part of every solution. It enables you to control your system's basic configuration, to precisely match your chosen business procedures. It covers system-wide features, including currencies, VAT codes, spool queues and permission levels. User access can be defined all the way down to individual actions, within each module and option. The connections needed to import data from external sources, such as CAD, are also established within this module.
Another major aspect of the Foundation module is system documentation. Use the Report Designer to define multiple layouts for each of your business forms and commercial documents, including purchase and sales orders, invoices and credit notes. Specify which documents should go to which printers, and set defaults for items that must be sent to other destinations, such as file, fax and e-mail. You have total control over the look and feel of all your printed documents and reports.
